王跃栋先生2011年出生在北京,6岁开始跟随工艺美术大师马江红老师,系统学习葫芦雕刻技法。喜欢将现代经典卡通形象设计雕刻在葫芦上,运用版刻、浮雕、木雕、上色、洗色等技法,将作品完成的富有创新性,作品多次参加全国规模创作比赛并获奖,是年龄最小的开始跟随马老师学艺的徒弟。

Mr. Wang Yuedong was born in Beijing in 2011. At the age of 6, he began to systematically learn gourd carving techniques from Ma Jianghong, a master of arts and crafts. He likes to carve the modern classic cartoon image design on the gourd, and uses the techniques of engraving, relief, wood carving, coloring, washing, etc. to complete his works with innovation. His works have participated in national large-scale creation competitions for many times and won awards. He is the youngest apprentice who began to learn skills with Mr. Ma.

2023年乌鲁木齐市米东区“庆丰收”中国农民丰收节活动中获“非遗小达人”称号。

葫芦雕刻作品《国粹》在2023年山东聊城“第十五届中国江北水城*两河明珠(聊城)葫芦文化艺术节”的青少年精品大赛中荣获雕刻类银奖。

绘画作品入选2022年乌鲁木齐市文物局和市文化馆举办的“淑气芝兰繁茂,春风十里芬芳”书画作品展。

葫芦雕刻作品《金戈铁马》参加2023年乌鲁木齐市非遗巡回作品展,荣获优秀奖。

作品入选2021年第三届非遗传承国际儿童工艺画展。

绘画作品《魔法城堡》获2019年第七届“彩虹杯”青少年书画艺术展银奖

绘画作品《日神》获2019年第八届“彩虹杯”青少年书画艺术展银奖

雕刻作品《阳光下长大-偶像钟南山》获2021年北京昌平第二实验小学校园艺术比赛一等奖。

王跃栋在创作中运用版画、玉雕和木雕等多种技法,对古老的壁画艺术进行再创作,使之焕发出新的艺术魅力,并使西域佛教文化艺术也得到了发掘和传播。

Awards over the years

The gourd carving "Auspicious" won the silver medal in the first gourd culture and art festival of Tianjin Rongda, China in 2020

In 2023, Midong District, Urumqi won the title of "Little Master of Intangible Cultural Heritage" in the "Celebrating the Harvest" Chinese Farmers Harvest Festival.

The gourd carving "Quintessence of China" won the silver medal in sculpture in the youth boutique competition of the "15th China Jiangbei Water City * Lianghe Pearl (Liaocheng) Hulu Culture and Art Festival" in Liaocheng, Shandong in 2023.

The painting works were selected into the painting and calligraphy exhibition "Shuqi Zhilan is luxuriant, spring breeze is ten miles fragrant" held by Urumqi Cultural Relics Bureau and Urumqi Cultural Museum in 2022.

The gourd carving "Golden Goggle and Iron Horse" was exhibited in Urumqi Intangible Cultural Heritage Tour Exhibition in 2023 and won the Excellence Award.

His works were selected into the Third International Children's Arts and Crafts Exhibition of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance in 2021.

The gourd carving "Growing up in the Sun" won the first prize of the arts and crafts project in the "Yirun Xintian Happy SHOW" competition of Beijing Changping Second Experimental Primary School in 2019

The sculpture Growing up in the Sun - Idol Zhong Nanshan won the first prize in the 2021 Beijing Changping Second Experimental Primary School Campus Art Competition.

In his creation, Wang Yuedong used various techniques such as printmaking, jade carving and wood carving to recreate the ancient mural art, making it glow with new artistic charm, and making the Buddhist culture and art in the Western Regions also be explored and spread.
